Same Time, Next Year- It is a movie that everyone can enjoy together.This is something not usually seen in movies of this type, so it makes it an unusual, yet pleasant experience.The movie is absolutely stunning and Ellen Burstyn deliver some award-winning performances in this movie. I also think Alan Alda was great!

I think Ellen Burstyn and Alan Alda worked wonderful in Same Time, Next Year. The great supporting cast includes Ellen Burstyn, Alan Alda, Ivan Bonar, Bernie Kuby, Cosmo Sardo.

You should see it, make no mistake this is a definite blockbuster!

Bernard Slade's smart, funny, and touching play about an adulterous couple who meet one weekend a year for 26 years is nicely adapted for the screen by Robert Mulligan (To Kill a Mockingbird) in this 1978 film. The two-person story stars Alan Alda and Ellen Burstyn, both of whom are outstanding at conveying a rainbow of emotions over a quarter-century as life gives and takes away, and the world convulses with change.
