Wow! I really loved the movie First Born. The movie is absolutely stunning with top-notch graphics and visuals while Elisabeth Shue deliver some award-winning performances in this movie. I also think Steven Mackintosh was great! The visuals and graphics make for some very realistic on screen special-effects but that is the beauty of the movie.When the movie wants to be funny it is funny, the same is true for when the movie needs to deliver its scary aspects.

I think Elisabeth Shue and Steven Mackintosh worked wonderful in First Born. The great supporting cast includes Elisabeth Shue, Steven Mackintosh, Kathleen Chalfant, Khandi Alexander, Anne Wolf (II).

You should see it, make no mistake this is a definite blockbuster!

Summary of First Born:
Laura soon discovers that she's pregnant, and after moving to the suburbs, she finds herself feeling alone, and increasingly isolated in their large, secluded home in the country. When the baby is born, it quickly becomes apparent that being a mother is more challenging than Laura ever imagined, as she gradually begins a slippery downward spiral into postpartum depression. Saddled with the primal maternal need to protect her infant at all costs, Laura suddenly questions her ability to do so as well as her sanity. Sherlock Holmes Faces Death- To begin, this movie has a great beginning; it pulled me right into it.This is something not usually seen in movies of this type, so it makes it an unusual, yet pleasant experience.The action scenes are really great. Basil Rathbone played his role great. Nigel Bruce actually caught my interest.

I think Basil Rathbone and Nigel Bruce worked wonderful in Sherlock Holmes Faces Death. The great supporting cast includes Basil Rathbone, Nigel Bruce, Dennis Hoey, Arthur Margetson, Hillary Brooke.

All in all, I would rate this movie an 8.5/10. I would definitely watch this movie again.

The master detective Sherlock Holmes (Basil Rathbone) and his faithful cohort Dr. Watson (Nigel Bruce) are back, preserved and digitally restored in 35mm to original condition by the UCLA Film and Television Archive. This newly restored version of the classic film includes the period war bond tag, studio logo and credits from its original theatrical release. Filled with ominous shadows and interesting camera angles, the visual beauty of the film in 35mm is stunning.

SHERLOCK HOLMES FACES DEATH (1943) is an intriguing mystery based upon Sir Arthur Conan Doyle's "The Musgrave Ritual." Dr. Watson, tending recuperating soldiers housed at centuries-old Musgrave Manor, summons Sherlock Holmes to investigate strange happenings. What follows is a bizarre series of events, including murders, secret passages, a game of chess and a mysterious family ritual.

Even Inspector Lestrade is on hand, as well as lovely Hillary Brooke as Sally Musgrave. But only Sherlock Holmes, in a race against time and a desperate killer, can decipher the ancient riddle and uncover the treasure it hides.
